I like to just get straight into what I like to write about and I think a proper more formal introduction will have to wait for later. In a nutshell I am a fellow PhD student who has been around for quite some time now (almost hitting my third year in october). My quest is still ongoing and as I was speaking to a dear friend of mine about having the milestone of finishing up soon, she replied well write about it, yes write about your experiences in these last months.
After much thought about this, I decided to give it a go, for my sake more than anyone else's (I am not sure it anyone will ever read this), I guess my goal with making these small posts (I tent to ramble on but I will endeavour to make it small) is to share my thoughts on my stages and experiences along the way both personal and professional as I am sure life will evolve in an interesting way as it always does.
and so I have named this blog the 9-months count-down and I know this could easily be confused with me being pregnant! I will hopefully come back and check in on a weekly basis and I need to remember this!
